Last Saturday I watched Perempuan Punya Cerita.
The film is directed by four directors -all female - Nia Dinata, Upi Avianto, Fatimah Tobing and Lasja F Susatyo. There are four stories, all about female. set in different premises and stories, this film shouts for the dignity of women. How women sees sex, love, relationship and sacrifice...

Enough blah blah blah....
I am not gonna tell the story plot or whatever the story is...
The visual is natural ( I think, hmmm) cause it's quite dark actually...
Every story ends up with a sadness look...
Maybe that's how female's life is all about, especially in Indonesia...

Anyway...
What I can get from the movie was "That I have to be thankful to what I have now or then..And thank God for many choices I have....

Cause there are many people who has to live the life with no choice...
Or if they have choices, it is only two that is "to live or to die"

XXI - EX Plaza (4 May 2006)

As a buff of tv serial Mission Impossible , I wouldn't pass an invitation to flick the movie itself. Due to the fatigue that ambushed me after spending too much time under the spotlight in shooting location, I felt so exhausted. But then it's an obligation for me to flick this movie anyway..

Back to the film:
Nothing more to see. I mean, what could you ask for more, huh?
With the format of Present - Flash back - Present, the opening scene showed Ethan Hunt is being crucified and in front of him there's a woman -who turned out to be His wife. Ethan was under the thread of Owen Davian, a dangerous power player. He is forced to reveal the location of "rabbit's foot".Then the scene shifts to flash back.

Flash back:
Ethan was assigned the mission to safe the life of Lindsay (fresh recruit) - Keri Russell- , who's being assigned to pursuit Owen Davian. Hunt assembles his team - his old friend Luther Strickell (Ving Rhames), transportation expert Declan (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), background operative Zhen (Maggie Q). In this mission, Ethan Hunt was failed to safe Lindsay for Owen Davian put the bomb inside her head.

Before Lindsay died,she was about to mention about the actor behind all this set up. But then she couldn't. After Lindsay's funeral, Ethan received a postcard from Lindsay, which she sent it before she died. Behind the stamp, Ethan found a micro chip. That micro chip turned out to be a video of a message from Linda which revealed the actor behind this set up. to travel the globe pursuing Davian. When things gets personal and Davian goes after Hunt's new love Julia, Ethan gets mad. And when Ethan Hunt gets mad, stuff blows up
(oh, in MI 3 Ethan is eventually settled down with Julia - a lovely nurse).

Before I reveal all the details. Let me just wrap it all in simple paragraph.
Like two previous MI, this film offer a full action and technology yet drama plot is so poor..

What came to its rescue is the beautiful sceneries of many cities (i won't mention the city, let it be surprise)...

So, let your adrenaline be drained...by watching this movie...
